National Capital Chapter SCI

National Capital Chapter SCI honors one of its members annually with the Member of the Year Award. The award is given to the member who has done the most to aid the chapter in its mission statement over the past year. The award shall be presented at the following years’s annual banquet by the chapter president or their designee.

Award Requirements

National Capital Chapter SCI

Requirements for the award are as follows:

Recipient must have been a member in good standing of both the National Capital Chapter and SCI national.
Members can be nominated by any other chapter member.
There is no limit to the number of times a member may win this award.

The award voting shall be by secret ballot of the members of the board. Members of the board should submit their first and second choices for the award. Second choices are to be used in in case of a tie.
